ABOUT AMBER JA’NEY

Welcome! My name is Amber Ja’Ney, and I am a California-based multidisciplinary artist specializing in dance, choreography, modeling, acting, singing, and designing. My artistic journey is rooted in movement and embodied rhetoric/ expression, fostering a lifelong commitment to creative exploration and refinement. Dance is not just a practice for me; it is a soulful connection that weaves storytelling and community together. I strive to create an inclusive environment where dancers of all levels can embrace their artistic identities and express themselves freely, transcending limitations and celebrating vulnerability.

I have had the privilege of performing in competitions across cities including Las Vegas, Anaheim, Bakersfield, Roseville, and Santa Clara, as well as at notable venues such as UC Davis, the San Jose Convention Center, California’s Great America, and Marine World.

 

My experience extends beyond the stage, having performed alongside recording artists and contributed to music videos. In addition to dance, I have expanded my creative career into modeling and runway, with appearances at New York Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week. I have also modeled in Malibu and also worked as a fashion designer for Malibu Models, further developing my presence within the fashion industry. My work also includes features in magazines, print campaigns, commercial projects, and more.
